Vice President Investor Relations

Responsibilities
The Vice President Investor Relations supports the Global Institutional Investor Relations team with a focus on European institutional investor relationship management and capital-raising strategies for the firm´s institutional investment products across all regions (including Fund´s and separate accounts in the U.S., Europe and LATAM). 
 
The Vice President will work closely with all members of the Investor Relations team. The role involves extensive direct written, verbal, and interpersonal communication with colleagues and investors. The Vice President must develop a thorough understanding of Jamestown’s portfolio, strategies, services and global institutional investor base. The ideal candidate should have a strong “can-do” attitude and must thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented professional culture.

  • Collaborate with in-house teams throughout the platform to update and maintain materials, and create new content (for example: presentations and other investor deliverables)
  • Planning and executing virtual and on-site investor meetings and asset tours, and prepare related materials
  • Prepare Word and Excel due diligence questionnaires, written responses to RFPs (requests for proposal), and ad-hoc investor requests
  • Execute frameworks and strategies for raising institutional capital from EU-based investors across Jamestown’s full suite of investment products and capabilities
  • Maintain databases and tracking logs related to department functions and activities
  • Provide exceptional and timely customer service to investors
  • Proofread and edit documents
  • Evaluate current and potential processes to improve and determine best practices
  • Coordinate effectively with the broader Investor Relations team to ensure alignment and an organized approach
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Regularly update and maintain accurate information within the Juniper Square CRM
Your profile
  • Education: Educational background in real estate, finance, business, or a related field of study
  • Work experience: 6-10 years of experience of working with institutional investors
  • Language Proficiency: Exceptional written and verbal communication in English and German. Fluent in one additional European language is a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch or Italian, etc.)
