Creative Associate

Responsibilities
We are looking for a Creative Associate to work with and in support of a dedicated team, at the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager. This person will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of marketing and site activation initiatives on site at our properties in Amsterdam. A strong understanding of placemaking and event planning with a curiosity for digital marketing and an eye for design is desired. Job requires person to be on site 3-4 days per week, and be on site in the morning or evening to support events at least once per week.

The job will require a diverse skill set. Main responsibilities include: 

  • Creative & Marketing:
    • Work with Senior Manager to identify, develop, and manage marketing initiatives and plans, including the design and production of marketing collateral, newsletters, events and more.
    • Work with the team to capture and create digital content, develop written content and curate images and text in line with brand standards for print and digital communications
    • Assist with branding efforts and strategy for market placement that can be applied across websites, signage, leasing collateral, tenant communications, photography
    • Drive social media and editorial calendar, including the creation of content, schedule and oversee photoshoots, posting, and engagement with the online community
    • Collaborate to activate properties to enhance tenant and visitor experience, including organization, execution, and attending of weekly events on site, as well as other gatherings throughout the year. Responsibility is shared with Senior Marketing Manager
    • Assist with the curation of strategic partnerships with tenants and external parties
    • Support with the management of budgets for activations and programming
    • Interface and develop relationships with property management and community, as well as external vendors including printers, copywriters, photographers and other third-party contractors.
    • Other duties, as needed.
  • Administration:
    • Support the team with printing, gifting, and other needs as they arise, both sourcing and execution. 
    • Special projects and research, i.e. cultural trends, event ideas and logistics, corporate marketing initiatives.
    • Research of trends, event ideas, logistics, corporate marketing best practices and more

Your profile
Work Experience: Two to five years of work experience covering marketing, real estate, or hospitality, with a focus on creative set design, events, digital marketing, English copywriting, or any combination of the above.
Education: Degree in marketing, design, communications, or a related field of study from an accredited university, or any combination of education, training and experience that provides the required skills and ability to perform the job functions at a high level.
Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook, Adobe Creative skills a plus
Language Proficiency: Fluent written and verbal communication in English, Dutch a plus
